It was a 2-minute walk from Anton Martin metro, and I could easily reach Chueca on foot for the Pride festivities, crossing Puerta del Sol. I appreciated being close to the action yet away from the chaos. The hostel didn’t have internet, but there were plenty of internet cafés nearby open until 11 pm, plus shops, pubs, and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and delightful – I spoke with three different receptionists and all were excellent, easily five-star calibre. Special mention to Manuel, who was wonderful.”
